Green Graduations

With graduations happening all over the country around this time, there are many different ways to celebrate in green ways. Instead of having a company make invitations, you can print your own using recycled paper. It allows you to experiment with a lot of different fonts and be green at the same time. Also, instead of using paper plates and plastic silverware, a better idea would be to use just regular dishes. This way they will not all end up in the garbage after the party is over. Water coolers would be put to better use than individual bottles of water for every guest. They are less expensive and will reduce waste. That is as long as you do not use a lot of plastic cups with the cooler. This should be a special and important day for all graduates. However, this does not mean that it has to be over the top and wasteful. When planning your party, try to help out the environment.
