Tell the next president how you think he should address global issues!

Here is your opportunity to tell the next president how to address and prioritize current global challenges starting on his first day in office! In 1 day we will know who will address the most crucial issues like climate change and poverty that we have been discussing of late. On Day One, a UN Foundation campaign, gives us the unique chance to "set the agenda" by taking action and speaking out on what the next president should make as his priority.

While we are taking action on climate change we can also advocate more effectively through participating in On Day One. We need to hold our elected leaders responsible for crucial global issues and make sure that all people have a say in our future as a nation and a world. In two short weeks, an expert panel will determine whose idea for the president is the best and if you are the winner of the On Day One contest, you will have the chance to win some unique prizes! Don't miss out on this opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the world's most important decision makers.

On Day One is a project of the Better World Campaign, a sister organization of the UN Foundation.

This idea is simply a great one to get people more into the idea of shaping their own future environments. Frankly, the qualified panel of judges I'm sure could go ahead and make the best plan without our help, but it's great that we too get to show our own concern and initiative on addressing the issue of the climate. I personally would first address alternative energy options. It will be good to know this upcoming initiative on the environment.
