Reduce your emissions now!

Posted by Jessica Elisberg | October 5, 2007

Earlier this week, Victoria posted a blog about reducing carbon emissions by unplugging appliances when we aren't using them. She mentioned that one of the problems with trying to be more energy efficient is that it can be really expensive to replace appliances with new ones that use less electricity.

There's a cool website where you can see what kind of options you have for becoming more energy-efficient. They have a great selection of products, ranging from oxygenating shower heads to light bulbs, and the coolest thing is that it tells you exactly how much energy you save in a year and how many pounds less of carbon emissions you create for each item! You can even get a whole kit that is customized for your home, apartment, or dorm room! It's a win-win situation: save money, save energy, save the environment! So check out the Earth Aid Kit!
